By Air: Edinburgh Airport is 8 miles from The Walton Hotel, approximately 30 minutes away by car. Otherwise you can take the direct shuttle bus from airport to city centre.
Waverley Railway Station and the bus station are within easy walking distance or a short cab journey. We are on the 23 & 27 bus routes. For guests travelling by car, we have private off-street parking.
By car from the west, follow the road signs for Edinburgh City Centre and you will eventually arrive at the West End of Princes Street. Princes Street is closed to traffic travelling east, so follow the flow of traffic down onto Queen Street and then take a left at Queen Street Gardens East, which changes into Dundas Street after a short distance. The Hotel is on the right as you travel down.
By car from the east, follow the road signs for Edinburgh City Centre and you will eventually arrive at the East End of Princes Street. Travel west on Princes Street and turn right on to Frederick Street. Turn fourth right on to Queen Street and then take first left at Queen Street Gardens East, which changes into Dundas Street after a short distance. The Hotel is on the right as you travel down. |
