• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from midday, Check Out before 10am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The price is per room
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  A full scottish breakfast is included - or vegetarian option if preferred.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes, you can.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  English and French.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  There is 1 floor above ground level. It is a georgian house and so has no elevator. There are 10 steps to the front door.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Yes, we have quiet rooms overlooking our garden.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  No, they do not.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  No, but they have lovely views of the garden or over to the hills.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  Yes, we are completely non-smoking.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  All rooms have TV but not international channels.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  There are no telephones in the rooms but there is a payphone in the hall.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  There is no requirement for air conditioning in Edinburgh.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  Yes, we have a broadband wireless facility.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  No, but we are 300 yards from the Royal Commonwealth Swimming pool.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Yes, we have plenty of private car parking.
• Where can we rent a car?
  You can rent a car 1 mile from here.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  Edinburgh Airport is 10 miles away from here.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  No, but the airbus will take you to city centre. From there you can take a short bus ride or walk if travelling light.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Edinburgh Waverley Station is 1 mile away.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No, but the local fitness centre is 300 yards away.
• Are pets welcome?
  Sorry, no. Only guide dogs.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, but there are very many different types of restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  In some rooms but you can have internet access from the main reception area.
