 The immediate area boasts many fine restaurants offering a varied International Cuisine to suit all tastes. It is also close to theatres and cinemas and is within a short walk to one of Edinburgh's newest leisure centres offering a 14 screen cinema, ten-pin bowling, night clubs, swimming pool and gymnasium. Shop in the City's Princes Street and George Street where you will find many International and designer shops including the famous Jenner's department store. You may wish to relax afterwards in Princes Street Gardens which nestles beneath the Castle and the Old Town. A great base for golfers, Edinburgh boasts some forty or so courses within easy reach of the City - St. Andrews, Gleneagles, and Loch Lomond courses are further afield but can all be reached on a days trip returning to the City in the evenings where you can enjoy the vibrant nightlife. |
