By Plane
From Edinburgh airport you can take either the N.100 Airlink shuttle bus to Princes Street or a taxi. The stop for this service on Princes Street is situated just past the bottom of Frederick Street and the Rick's is located just over George Street and past Thistle Street on the right hand side. Alternatively the city centre is only a 20 minute short taxi ride away and taxis' are readily available at the airport.
By Train
From Waverley station exit to Princes Street then, walk to your left towards the castle: Frederick Street is the third turning to the right (next turning after Hanover Street). The hotel is located just over George Street on the right hand side. Alternatively you can reach the hotel with a very short taxi ride.
By Car
From Glasgow airport: Coming from Caledonia Way (East), follow the signs to "M8/Edinburgh/Paisley/Renfrew". Merge onto M8 and go straight on for about 78 km. At main roundabout, take "A71/A720/Edinburgh West/City Centre. Keep left to stay on ramp, at roundabout, take the first exit onto A71 [Calder Road]. Turn left (north) onto Balgreen Road. Continue (east) on this road till you reach the A700 [Lothian Road]. Turn left into A700 [Lothian Road], turn right (east) onto A8 [Princes Street], then turn left into A8 [South Charlotte Street]. Keep straight onto Charlotte Square. Turn right onto Queen Street [Albyn Place]. Turn right (South) onto Frederick Street and the hotel is at number 55a. |
