By Car:
From Glasgow - Follow the M8, M80 to Stirling, Then follow the A9 past Perth to Pitlochry.
From Edinburgh - Cross The Forth Road Bridge and follow the M90 to Perth. Join the A9 to Pitlochry.
From Dundee - Follow the signs for Perth and Edinburgh. A85 to Perth and then join the A9 to Pitlochry.
From Aberdeen - Follow the A96 heading towards Inverness and then join the A9 south to Pitlochry.
Arriving at Pitlochry: the turning for Pitlochry is on the left hand side of the A9 heading from Perth. Follow the main Atholl Road through the centre of Pitlochry and look for the "Old Smithy Restaurant" on your right hand side. Turn right here into Larchwood Road. At the top of the hill, the road bears round to the left, keep turning to your left and you will see the gates for the hotel.
From the North, you will enter Pitlochry on the main Atholl Road. Pass the Claymore and Westlands Hotels on your left hand side and take the first turn left up Larchwood Road (Signposted to the Golf Course)At the top of the first rise, the road bears round to the left. Keep driving left and you will see the gates to the hotel.
By Train There is a mainline Station in Pitlochry with trains running from London to Inverness via Edinburgh and Glasgow. Taxis are available from the station or you can contact the hotel direct to arrange transport from the station. |
