A nice hotel, quiet and close to the center of Edinburgh, a busstop almost in front of the hotel which was very easy, polit people were helping us, breakfast was very good, price/quality was good.

Receptionist forgot to ask me to settle bill at time of arrival, so throughout stay on returning to room both evenings I had messages left requesting that I settle bill. Eventually got someone on morning of departure.

Although room and en-suite were clean and tidy we were disappointed with standard of room. Have paid similar amount and stayed in less 'tired' accommodation previously.

Breakfast very disappointing - bacon and sausage were not very appertising. Coffee not brand named, tea was ok.

Basic needs catered for, disappointed with breakfast. Hotel approx 20 minute walk (uphill) to centre of Edinburgh - if you have mobility problems. If travelling by car park on road in front of hotel, this was suggested by receptionist, area at back of hotel less than inviting.
