I made the reservations but did not stay there. I sent 7 guests 4 double rooms. The response for the booking was excellent. As you know it was a heavily booked time because of a convention. My clients were very happy with the experience and the location and how helpful the staff directing them to restaurants. There one and only concern not complaint was the furniture seemed very old not antique just old. The bathrooms they raived about. ... re-emphaise how close to public transportation really it is at the door ... This is how my clients described it to me: a beautiful old victorian property with a great deal of charm beautiful bathroom, very India like of course but suggest try to update some of the furniture, not change style just newer

Very noisy room, not very clean, furniture were old and broken, room was small, toilet lets water on the floor of the bathroom by using, much too expensive for this bad quality (we paid 100,00 Euro = 65 pounds per night) We would not recommend this hotel to other visitors! If it would be cheaper, then its o.k. Breakfast was not really good, too. ... Although the hotel opened in 2003, it`s not new inside and the floor is wooden, so that the rooms are not quiet! To the city of Edinburgh it`s not 1 mile, it is about 2 miles! ... We would not recommend it, because the qualitiy is too bad for this expensive location! We expected a very better hotel.

The biggest and most comfortable room i have ever stayed in. I have recommended the hotel to people i know who are thinking about visiting edinburgh. For value for money it can't be beaten. ... Having read the guest book I didn't see one bad comment. The room was absolutly fab.
