- At what time can we check-in and out?
All accommodations, Check In from 1pm, Check Out before 10.30am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in. - Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
The price is per person.
- Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
Yes, it is included, full Scottish breakfast or continental. This also includes a selection of fresh fruit and juices, cereals, yoghurts, cheese and bakery items together with fresh cafetieres of coffee and a selection of teas. Special diets catered for. - Can we settle the bill on arrival?
Yes, as you prefer.
- Which languages are spoken at the reception?
English and limited French. - How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
Two floors. The house is Victorian and has no lift.
- Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
We have three deluxe ensuite rooms each with canopied bed, and one with its own Victorian free standing bath and chaise longue. - Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
One room has access to a private paved garden courtyard via French doors and all rooms have access to the garden. - Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
No, they do not. - Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
MW is a completely non-smoking house.
- Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
Yes there is TV with Sat channels in each of our rooms. - Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
Yes, in all rooms.
- Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
No, there is not. - Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
No. - Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
No, there is not however the Royal Commonwealth Swimming Pool is 300 metres far from the MW. - Is parking or garage available?
Yes, there is ample private and secure off street parking for guests. - Where can we rent a car?
There is a rent a car 2 km from house or at Edinburgh Airport (11 km).
- Which is the nearest airport?
Edinburgh Airport. - Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
No, we do not. You can choose between taxi service or bus shuttle service up to the city centre and then local bus up to MW Townhouse. - Which is the nearest railway station?
Edinburgh Waverley station. - Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
No, there is not but the Commonwealth swimming pool is situated 300 metres far from us and has Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Turkish Bath. - Are pets welcome?
Pets cannot be accommodated at the MW in the interests of guests with allergies. - Is there a restaurant in the Property?
No, there is not. - Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
Yes, you can from all rooms.
