I would highly recommend this B&B May and her husband were absolutely wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it was close to Hollyrood Park which is where we needed to be for the Marathon on June 12th. PLUS the bus line was right outside the door. When I come back to Scotland I plan on staying at the MW Guest House.

The owners of the MW Guesthouse and their staff was absolutely wonderful. Helpful every step of the way, including steping out on the stree to hail us cabs! Loved it, hope I can come back across the pond and stay a couple of nights again.

A telephone in the hotel room would be very much appreciated. This was the only missing point for me.
Breakfast is really rich and delicious.

Only downside was that the bathroom was not adjacent to the bedroom. All the rest was really OK.

Clean guesthouse. Very friendly people. Good breakfast. Easy location (busstops near the house) - 5-10 minutes bus drive from city centre.

iT MAY BE HELPFUL TO INCLUDE THAT THE LOTHIAN BUSES TO AND FROM THE GUEST HOUSE ARE EXTREMELY REGULAR AND THAT AN ALL DAY SAVER IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO GET AROUND.

One of the two rooms we booked was fairly small, but did cost less, so i guess it is ok.

Nicely decorated guesthouse
The owner was involved and helpful with finding buses etc. They also asked where we came from etc. making it feel like a guesthouse should feel. We stayed in 5 guesthouses during that week and there were only 2 doing this.

In the voucher it was room Macallan, while we got an other room which was OK

All in all we had a nice stay despite an issue at breakfast before our leave. We were hurrying when I ordered at 8.20 but I was told that breakfast is only from 8.30. We were than waiting but the lady came after 20 minutes to us again in order to collect orders despite having told her before. We repeated our order and consequently those arrived after us had breakfast before us...

It is a nice place with good transport to the center.
