• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In any time, Check Out before 10am.
  Please note arrivals after 10pm are not acceptable to the Guest House unless there are exceptional circumstances and the Guest House is kept fully informed. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The price is per person per night.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Breakfast is included in price. Full Scottish breakfast is supplied.
• Is heating included in the price?
  Yes, it is.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes, you can, but generally payment is made at departure.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  Little French.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  There are two floors, without the elevator.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  There are private rooms.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  All linen and towels are provided.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  No, they do not have.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  No, they do not have.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  Yes, we do, because the guest house is entirely non smoking.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  There is a television in all rooms and some with DVD players.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  No, there is not. Payphone in reception hall.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  No, there is not.
• Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
  No, there is not.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  No, we do not have for guests.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  No, there is not.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Parking is available on site and also on main street there is no parking restriction and free.
• Where can we rent a car?
  Hertz, Avis, etc
• Which is the nearest airport?
  Edinburgh airport.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  No we do not have, but we could arrange if customer specifically requested.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Haymarket station. Although Waverley station is just as convenient.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No, there is not. The CraigLockhart sport centre is only a short walk away.
• Are pets welcome?
  No pets are not welcome. We are prepared to accept guide dogs.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, there is not.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  No, you can not.
