Tried to arrange early checkin but couldnt because of previous tenants. We were allowed to drop off our bags so we could get some breakfast before returning. ... Although the photos of the room were accurate, it would have been nice to say there was also a balcony to the back from the master bedroom. The apartment was also the only one with balconies which made it even more special. It was nice to point out to the others upon arrival. It was nice to have some literature on the hall table about whats to do in Edinburgh and taxi numbers too, which meant we didnt have to go looking very far. ... There were towels as advertised and therefore expected some toiletries or a small bar of soap. There was coffee, sugar and washing-up liquid which meant we could have a hot drink straight away. There was extra double glazing at the rear because of the railway line, which meant we had a very peaceful time. Which was something I was a little concerned over seeing the line on the map, so it was very reassuring. (Even though a few of us hit our faces on it, when looking out the back - too clean) ... A very elegant and clean apartment in a small private road. Close to amenities and a near to the city centre which is easily walkable but plenty of buses or taxis if you'd prefer. The photos are a very accurate idea of what the apartment looks like, and there are a few magazines and leaflets on the hall table to keep you informed on whats going on and numbers for taxi firms.
