By car from the airport: follow the sign for Edinburgh, take the city by-pass South (A720)and exit at Straiton Junction, follow the sign North to the city centre, when you will come to a steep hill called Liberton Brae. Take the left fork at the traffic lights at the bottom of Liberton Brae on to Mayfield Road, two sets of traffic lights and Lauderville is on the left.
By car from the North: cross the Forth Road Bridge and take the by pass South, which is on your left as you leave the bridge, again keep on the by-pass South until you reach Straiton Junction.
By car from the South: It is the same if driving from the South take the by-pass (A720) and exit at Straiton Junction.
If arriving at the rail or bus station in the centre, the easiest way is to take a taxi (6-7 minutes ride). Alternatively you can take the number 42 bus from The Mound. |
