 The hotel is about 200 meters from the main A1 south and about 1 km from the city bypass that links Edinburgh with the rest of the country. Edinburgh airport is on the west side of town and can be reached by skirting the city centre using the bypass or by the airport bus to the city centre which links to the main public transport system. The Kings Manor hotel is in the eastern suburbs, around 10-15 minutes from the city centre itself yet only a few hundred yards from Edinburgh's golden sands at Portobello beach. |

By Train:
From Waverley station: You can take a taxi, which will bring you to the hotel in about 15 - 20 minutes or take the cross rail service (terminus Newcraighall) to Brunstane Station.
From Brunstane station: From Brunstane station to Kings Manor hotel there are only 400 metres walk. From the station turn left and take Milton road east, where the hotel is at number 100. No Sunday Service.
By Bus: from the city centre, there is a good service with the Lothian buses.Take number 44 from Princes street and First bus 44, 106, 108, 124 and 113 from Princes street. Get off in Milton road east: there is a bus stop very close to the hotel: ask to the driver!
By Plane: Edinburgh Airport is about 20 km to the west. A taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. If you prefer you can take the Airlink bus and get off at Princes street. From there, take number 44 or First bus 44, 106, 108, 124 and 113. Get off in Milton road east: there is a bus stop very close to the hotel: ask to the driver!
By Car: coming from the airport, take the junction of city bypass (A720) and A1, Old Craighall junction, follow A1 northwards towards Leith. At the second roundabout turn right (A199)... Hotel is 330 metres on the right.
