  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    We will accept check-in at any time from 8.00 am till 10.30 pm with advance notice but can only guarantee accommodation will be available after 1.00 pm.
    Check-out: from 11.00 am.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price are per room/apartment.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    In the guest house price includes full cooked breakfast menu. In the apartments price includes a continental breakfast.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Yes, it is.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes, you can.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    There are three floors and no lift in the guest house. In the apartments there are two floors and no lift.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Yes, our rooms are very private and romantic.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    Everything is provided.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    No, they have not. The Maltings Apartment has its own sun terrace.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, they have not.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    All the establishment is non-smoking.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    Yes, there is a TV but no satellite.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    Yes, there is.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, there is no air conditioning.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    Yes, there is our breakfast room in the guest house.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Yes, there is.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, there is not.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Free on street parking is available.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    At the airport or in many rental agencies in the city.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Edinburgh Airport.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    No, we have not. Airport bus passes our door (fare 3.30 pounds). Taxi costs around £11.00).
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Edinburgh Haymarket Station.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    We will accept some pets by arrangement (depending on number and size of animals).
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, there is not.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    Yes, you can.
