Tony and Liz were perfect hosts. We were immediately made to feel at home.

We stayed in the family room, and it was lovely. The garden was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. We were sorry to leave and would stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Edinburgh. The location of the bus stop right across the street from the guest house is a real plus.

Since we were flying out of Glasgow, they helped us arrange transportation. They arranged for our taxi and helped with the train schedule.

Even though we arrived later than we expected (late train from London), we were greeted at the door by name, shown our room, given fresh milk for coffee and tea and given a very friendly greeting by Tony, who came downstairs to meet us. we felt very warmly welcomed.

All the Kellys we met are helpful, gracious and very friendly. They cooked a great breakfast, had excellent suggestions for activities that would interest children, great directions, accurate information about buses, etc. They made us feel very much at home. If we are ever in Edinburgh again (and I hope we will be) we'll definitely stay at Kellys Guest House! In addition to the hospitality shown us, Kellys Guest House is also in a great location. Liz Kelly was even kind enough to drive us into town Sunday so we didn't have to wait 40 minutes for the bus.

Liz and Tony are extrememly helpful with sightseeing recommendations, bus times and happy to answer any questions we had about where to eat, etc.

Staying at Kellys Guest House was truly like staying at home away from home. The room was spacious - plenty big enough for the three of us, lovely bathroom and everything was spotless. Liz and Tony are very friendly. We appreciate their showing us Scottish hospitality.

We found the proprietor to be very pleasant and welcoming, as we were early and our room was not quite ready we were made very welcome with a tea/coffee and biscuits which was very pleasant after our journey.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay very much at Kelly's even though it was quite a brief visit, so much so, we are already planning our next trip and will definitely stay at Kelly's again. The cooked breakfast was superb, together with thelovely homemade marmalade and jam. Hospitality and guidance for travelling in the City was first class.

Again, the checking out was easy as the prioprietor had already arranged for our taxi to take us to the airport. We just relaxed in the lounge waiting to be picked up.

The politeness of the staff was really superb, he was all the time available to reply our questions and this fact was a very important thing to make a our stay at Edimburgh unforgettable

The rooms are clean and big, the owner is a great person and the quality of the breakfast is quite good as well. The only bad thing would be the location, which is not walking distance to the centre, but there is a bus stop just cross the road.

I arrived early in the morning after an overnight trans-atlantic flight, and the Kellys very kindly had my room ready for me when I arrived at 9 in the morning so that I could rest

The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities I needed and expected.

They gave me a discount (as stated in the voucher) for a long-term stay, and of course honored that.

It's a very comfortable guest house with easy access to downtown by bus, so you can really take advantage of the city life without paying stay-in-city rates. The Kelleys were very gracious and accomodating, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I was looking for extra info on things to see and do, but also very respectful of my privacy and needs as a long-term resident. They had a microwave and fridge available, which was great for keeping groceries on hand (and not being totally dependent on restaurants all the time). I absolutely look forward to staying at Kelly's again next time I'm in Edinburgh.

The lounge area is very spacious. Kelly's were very willing to let us bring back a guest (our daughter) and use the dining facilitites to have an evening meal that we provided the food for.

The Kelly's Guest House is located in a nice area and with direct and always-on-time bus connection to the centre of Edinburgh.
The hosts are very polite and forthcoming. The breakfast is great, especially the home-made raspberry jam.
The room was clean and cosy. The whole buildung is nice and cosy with a working fireplace and you have breakfast in the winter garden. You feel almost as if you were at home instantly.
Everything was very nice and definitely recommendable!

We dealt mainly with Mr Kelly for check in and during our stay and he was always very friendly, polite and helpful, he even let us keep our bags there after checking out so we could enjoy our last day in Edinburgh without lugging our cases around. We had a very nice stay.

We had fantastic time, however, the double bedroom that faced the road was very noisy due to the heavy traffic. This was surprising to me, as from the photos on web, this was not what I expected. On the other hand the second bedroom facing the back garden was fantastic !

It was dark when we arrived in Edinburgh and we couldn't find the establishment. They called us back and said 'stay where you are, we will come and get you'. Withink 15 mins. Mr. Kelly arrived and lead the way back to the B&B. Service above and beyond the call. Wonderful service.

The owners were very helpful and pleasant. They made a wonderful breakfast and their home was very clean. One of the rooms was a little tired but the bed was very comfortable.
