• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 10am, Check Out before 10am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The price is per person.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  A cooked to order breakfast is included in the price.
• Is heating included in the price?
  Yes, it is.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes, you can.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  English and German.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  There are two floors and no lift.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  The rooms on the back of the house are quieter.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  All linen and towels are provided.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  No, they do not have.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  No, they do not have.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  Yes, we do, because the whole of the house is totally non smoking.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  There is a TV in all the rooms showing terrestrial programmes.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  No, but there is a pay phone within the building.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  No, there is not.
• Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
  Yes, by arrangement.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  No, we do not have, but it should be available by the summer 2005.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  No, there is not.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Unrestricted street parking in the area.
• Where can we rent a car?
  In the city centre.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  Edinburgh.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  No, we do not have, but there is an excellent link bus from the airport to the city centre that runs every 10 minutes.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Waverley.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No, there is not.
• Are pets welcome?
  Only dogs by arrangement.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, there is not, but there are 10 restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Yes, there is Wi-Fi and modem connections within the guest house.
