room was very nice and enjoyable to stay in.bathroom was very nice too.double glazing would be good but did not bother me either way.breakfast each morning was an added bonus as we were able to save extra money.only problem was there was no remote for the tv but nothing major.

The room that was given to us was loud and very small. We upgraded for 20 pd. extra per day a very nice, quiet and spacious room.
The breakfast was not good, only plastic and not enough. It would be better to offer breakfast in a seperate room with higher quality.

Hanover Hotel was very close to the train station and we found tha hotel very quickly, thank you for the directions.

The room was furnished to a high standard and everything was layed out brillantly.

Brillant Location for Edinburgh, not far from all areas - can walk easily between old and new town, i would recommend this hotel to all my friends.

We had asked for a twin room but got allocated a double. However this was very quickly rectified and as there was no twins left we were allocated a family room on the top floor.

The family room was very spacious. As it was on the top floor it was also nice and quiet.
We did hear the bottles getting emptied from the pubs around the hotel but this was generally about midnight or around nine in the morning which was not a problem.

Straightforward and efficient. The luggage room was a great help which meant we could leave our case and enjoy our last day without having to carry it with us.

Receptionist was very helpful allowing us to leave bags as check in was not till 3pm.

Check out was ok,everything as expected, very pleasant staff. Again we able to leave bags in luggage rooms as we were not leaving Edinburgh till 5pm.

A good weekend Hotel. Hotel was certainly adequate for a weekend break. Clean, confortable rooms in the centre of Edinburgh, with all the shops, Bars and restaurants only a few steps away. I thought Continental breakfast in room with fridge was a good idea.

We got an early flight up to Edinburgh so arrived at the hotel not long after breakfast time. The lady on reception was friendly and explained there was a secure luggage room we could use until we came back later to formally check into our room.

Very convenient position parallel to Princes Street and near public transport. Breakfast was a 'in-flight' style pre-packaged one but adequate.

friendly staff. Able to leave our luggage in the luggage room until later in the day when we collected it prior to our journey to the airport.

Because of the nature of the hotel and the fact that breakfast was in the fridge (though included in priced), it give give the hotel a rather anonymous feel, but rooms were comfortable and the staff helpful and freindly.
