  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from 1.30pm, Check Out before 11am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    Per room per day.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    A full breakfast is always included in the room price. We have a wide selection of cereals and juices available at any time. Guests can also choose from a full cooked scottish breakfast (including bacon, eggs, sausage, haggis, black pudding and hash browns), or a continental breakfast including fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cheeses, cereals and fruit juices. We can also offer eggs benedict with either smoked salmon or grilled bacon.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Guests may feel free to settle their bill at any time, although we would ask that if a guest is leaving before 9:30am, that they settle their bill the night before departure to avoid delay.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English and French are both spoken at the reception.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    Our building has 4 floors and unfortunately no lift. We have only one single room on the main floor.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Being situated in a small crescent off the main road, all our rooms are quiet and ideal for a private evening.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    Unfortunately the hotel does not have a terrace or courtyard.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, they do not.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    The entire hotel is a non smoking area.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    All our rooms have colour TV.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    No, sorry. There is a payphone available on the main floor.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, there is not.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    No, we do not but there is an Internet Point nearby.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, there is not.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Unfortunately, the Hotel does not have the facilities for a car park. We are, though, within 2 minutes walking distance of the Haymarket station, where secure overnight parking is available.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    There are many car rental companies operating in Edinburgh, including some at the Airport and train station. The Internet is usually the best way of finding these, although reception can help you as well.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Edinburgh Airport at just under 9 km far from the property.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    The Airport shuttle bus runs from across the road from the hotel, and takes around 25 minutes to reach the airport (longer depending on traffic).
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Haymarket station, just under 20 m far from the hotel.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Unfortunately pets are not allowed at the hotel, with the exception of Guide dogs. Please mention at the time of booking if this applies.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    Evening meals are available upon request. If you wish to have dinner, please order it by 1:30 pm on the day you wish to have it.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    No, you can not.
