  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    Check in anytime, by arrangement.
    Check out is before 10:30am, but we are happy to look after your luggage. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price is per apartment, based on one or two sharing with a supplement for the use of the sofa bed.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    No, but a variety of foods and beverages are supplied for your own preparation.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Yes, heating is included.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes, you can.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    The apartment is on the ground floor, with a basement below and three floors above. A lift is not necessary.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    The apartment is quiet, private and very romantic.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    Linens and towels are provided.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    No, the apartment has not a terrace.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, the apartment has not.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    Yes, the apartment is totally non smoking.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    There is a television, video and hi-fi. There is no satellite TV.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    A pay phone.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, there is not, but is not necessary.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    Yes, you can dine at the window overlooking the rear garden.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    No, we have not.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, there is not.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    There is no garage, on street metered parking is available outside, and there is 24 hour parking nearby.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    There are many car rental firms in Edinburgh.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Edinburgh Airport is 20 minutes by bus from the city centre.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    No, we have not, but the shuttle bus is available from Shandwick Place, 2 minutes walk away.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Waverley Station, 1000 mts from the property.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    No.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, but there are many restaurants within 5 minutes walk.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    No, you can not.
