Glendruidh House is a small, friendly Highland hotel, and is ideally situated for exploring the spectacular Highlands of Scotland and its touristy attractions like the Loch Ness of course but also Urquhart Castle, Cawdor Castle (Macbeth's Castle), Fort George and so on. The house is situated on the outskirts of Inverness and is surrounded by gardens and woodlands.

The name Glendruidh comes from the Druid's Temple nearby - a grove of 9 oak trees surrounding a stone circle. Glendruidh House Hotel was originally a Dower House for the Leys Castle estate consisting of 2 cottages, both over 200 years old. The current owners, Michael and Christine, bought the house in 1983 and have continuously improved, restored, furnished and decorated the building - to make Glendruidh the very comfortable country house hotel it is today.

Glendruidh House Hotel has several unusual features that will undoubtedly seduce you: for instance the circular drawing room with windows and door shaped to fit is quite unique, just like Michael's malt whisky cellar (you can chose over 60 malt whiskies!). You will receive a very friendly, home-like welcome and will straight get to know your hosts: Christine will cook for you traditional Scottish food and Michael will ensure you make the most of your stay in the Highlands.
