If you have never had a holiday or short break in Scotland, indeed the highlands of Scotland before, then let us be the first to welcome you to the 'warm heart of the highlands' which is Dunalastair. If you have shared some time with us in the past, you will doubtlessly remember that warm little whisky bar, the glowing fire which welcomes you as you enter the hotel, the marvellous staircase, authentic taste of Scotland dining by candlelight in the glorious wood panelled baronial restaurant, that last drink in our original stone country pub - or perhaps that great night's sleep on the bed Liam Neeson slept on, in our famous Rob Roy Room.

Stunning layers of highland loch side, forest and mountain scenery surround the hotel, only serving to separate us just a little from the nearby delights of Pitlochry and Perth Theatre, Blair Castle and the House of Bruar, glorious Loch Tay and Aberfeldy, Killiecrankie and the Queens View, and numerous Scotch malt whisky distilleries including Edradour,Scotland's smallest.

Scottish countryside at its finest and most diverse, not just affording sensational car and motor bike 'big country' touring - and walking of all grades, but country sports and adventure opportunities so plentiful and of such high quality you could be excused for thinking you had all of Scotland on your doorstep here. For memorable short breaks, midweek and weekend breaks, romantic breaks and Valentines day breaks, activity breaks, murder mystery weekends and adventure or touring holidays in Scotland, in particular - in style, where else would you go?
