 Breakfast room: every morning a full Scottish breakfast is served in our welcoming breakfast room. You can choose among a wide menu with eggs (scramble, boiled or fried), tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, sausages and hash brown and of course tea and coffee, milk, cereals, yogurt, fruit and patisseries. |

 Edinburgh is one of Europe's best known cities; with historical and cultural links both past and present. No matter what interest visitors may have they will be superbly catered for in this beautiful capital city. Princes Street is world famous, with the tranquillity of approximately four acres of parks and gardens where the un-enthusiastic shopper can seek refuge! Rising above Princes Street is Edinburgh Castle, home of the Military Tattoo which is normally held in August, during the International Festival. The "Royal Mile" give the opportunity to visit the Castle, Camera Obscurer, the Museum of Childhood, John Knox's House and a wealth of shops, bulging with antiques and curios. Many famous hostelries are also a feature, allowing frequent stops before reaching the foot of the Mile and the Palace of Holyrood House. The east side of Edinburgh is dominated by Arthur's Seat and the Queen's Park, which brings the countryside into the city and affords ample space for recreation and picnics. From the vantage point of Arthur's Seat the visitor has panoramic views of the entire city - even taking in the rooftop of The Dorstan House close by. Nearby you can also find banks, post office, grocery stores and supermarkets, restaurants and anything you might need. |
