From Airport: Take the the Airport bus to the City Centre (Waverley Bridge). The bus runs hourly and the transfer time is around 20 - 30 minutes. Craigmoss Guest House is only a short taxi ride from there. The transfer time by Taxi is 5 - 10 minutes at a cost of £2.00 - £3.00. Alternatively a No 11 bus will take you directly here at a cost of £0.80. For the nearest bus stop, head towards Jenners. There's a No.11 every 15 minutes during the day, then half hourly in the evenings and Sundays.
From the Train Station: After arriving at Waverly Train Station, take either the North or West exits and look for Jenners. Go to the bus stop, There's a No.11 every fifteen minutes during the day, then half hourly in the evenings and Sundays. The bus will take you directly to the Guest House at a cost of £0.80.
From the Bus Terminal: You will probably arrive at the St. James' Square Bus Terminal. The Guest House is only a short taxi ride from there. The transfer time by Taxi is 5-10 minutes at a cost of £2-£3. Alternatively a No 11 bus will take you directly to the Guest House at a cost of £0.80. For the nearest bus stop, go torwards the St. James Centre Shopping Mall and turn left and walk down to York Place. Cross the road and go to the bus stop towards the roundabout.
By Car: Follow the signs for the City Centre. When you arrive at Princes Street go to the East End and follow the signs for Leith. You will go past a large roundabout at The Playhouse Theatre. Go straight down Leith Walk until you are about half way down. At this point you will come to traffic lights, with a large church on the opposite left hand corner. Turn left and you are now on Pilrig Street. Half way down on the left is the Craigmoss Guest House- look for No.62 and our garden sign. |
