 Breakfast: We serve breakfast in our relaxed and informal diningroom. We try to introduce an authentic Scottish experience to our menu with full Scottish breakfast, porridge and vegetarian and meat Haggis. Should you not want Haggis, but would like a taste it is always available on request (so don't miss out!!). Another favourite on the menu is our Craigmoss Special - a right sightseeing power pack. For those who would like to really relax and chill out, then take advantage of our Continental room service breakfast. Here below you can see a sample of our breakfast menu: Fruit Juice & Selection of cereals. |
 Continental: A choice of croissant, pan au chocolat, morning rolls, brioch roll and scones. Served with a selection of marmalade and preserves.
Scottish Porridge: Porridge, made from the finest porridge oats. And a Craigmoss special, Scottish porridge with chocolate chips, or fruity porridge.
Scottish Cooked Breakfast: Fresh Ayrshire bacon, sausage, egg, beans, tomato, and the traditional tattie scone. Served with toast and lashings of tea or coffee.
Scrambled Egg: Freshly cooked scrambled egg, served with toast and tomato.
Vegetarian Breakfast: Vegetarian haggis, served with traditional tattie scone, or Local Scottish kippers, grilled to perfection, or Vegetarian sausage served with eggs, toast and tomato.
Craigmoss Special: An energy packed breakfast for those planning a days sightseeing around the city. Potato waffles, grilled, Scottish smoked Ayrshire bacon, topped with a light dressing of Maple syrup. Guaranteed to give you plenty of energy. |
 Other services: In the hallway there is a wide selection of tourist information, leaflets and a resident's telephone. There is also a small comfy area in the resident's dining room, in front of a coal fire in the hall or on each of the landings to relax and read a newspaper or something. To help you relax, we can arrange with notice a range of complimentary therapies with qualified Reflexology, Polarity therapy, Reiki and Aromatherapy. Directly opposite the house is a bus stop with a service every 10 minutes. Those arriving by car will find parking easy at the guest house. |

Craigmoss Guest House is within easy access to a number of local amenities. These include an indoor swimming pool and gym and within easy walking distance of all of Edinburgh's great delights!
Edinburgh boasts a large selection of exclusive shops, which rival other European cities. Every shoppers' dream. In the evening there are host of good restaurants and we are only a stone's throw from the Playhouse Theatre.
Opposite the house is a large park with two seperate children's play areas, walkways, football pitches and lots of seating areas if you just want to relax after a energetic day's sightseeing.
An easy stroll or bus ride takes you into the rapidly developing Port of leith. There you will find an abundance of seafood restaurants and bistros, shops, galleries and of course the Royal Yacht Britannia. |
