  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from midday, Check Out before 10am.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    Price is per person per night
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    We can quote price inclusive or exclusive of breakfast and we do offer a choice of continental, cooked and vegetarian breakfasts.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    We have gas central beating and this is all included in the price.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    We expect a 50% deposit upon booking and the balance payable upon arrival. Once a booking is made, we require a 50% deposit payable by cash, cheque or credit card. Card payments on departure may be accepted, but carry a surchage of 2% of the total amount.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    We speak English and French and can help guests in Italian and Spanish.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    All our buildings are on either two or three floors and we do not have any lifts.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Yes, most of the rooms looking onto the rear gardens are quiet and peaceful.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    Linens and towels are provided and changed twice a week.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    Some rooms do have (patio).
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, they do not have.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    All our rooms and apartments are non-smoking.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite TV)?
    All rooms have colour TV with DVD/VCR and cable channels.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    We do not have a phone in the room, but have payphones.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, there is not.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    The dining room and sitting room is open to guests to use at their own leisure.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    No, we do not but there are many Internet cafes nearby or the public Library nearby offers free Internet access.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, there is not, but there are several Leisure Centres within walking distance.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    There is free parking available
  • Where can we rent a car?
    We can arrange car rental upon your arrival or you can contact all the major car rental companies at the Airport or the train station.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Edinburgh Airport is about 3 kilometres away.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    We do not offer this service, but the Airport Shuttle (Bus N. 100) runs close by Corstorphine Apartments every 15 mins.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    South Gyle & Haymarket (if travelling from North or West)
    Waverley (if travelling from South or East).
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not but there are many Leisure Centres nearby.
  • Are pets welcome?
    No, sorry.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, there is not but yhere are over 12 restaurants catering for all tastes - European, Scottish, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Fast Foods and so on with a few minutes walk.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    This is not available in the room, but you can access the Net from the Local public Library free of charge.
