  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from 2pm, Check Out before 11am. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price is per person per night.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    Breakfast is included in this price. Breakfast consists of a full Scottish or continental breakfast. The choice is yours.
  • Is heating included in the price?
    Yes, it is.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes of course.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    English, BSL, and Farsi.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    Ground floor rooms. No elevator required.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    There are spacious, quiet, very comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms.
  • Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
    All linens and towels are provided. If you are staying a few weeks your linen will be changed regularly.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    No, they do not have.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    No, they do not have.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    Yes, we do: all rooms are non smoking. You are free to smoke in the garden.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    There is a TV with remote controls.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    No, there is not, but telephone for guests' use is available in the dining room.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    No, there is not.
  • Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
    Yes, there is: you are welcome to bring meals or order takeaways and eat in the dining room at any time.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Yes, we do.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    No, there is not, but there is a swimming pool nearby in Stockbridge.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Private secure parking is available.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    At the airport, Waverley station or Avis car rental nearby.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    Edinburgh airport - 20 minutes drive.
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    No, we do not have.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    Orchard Road bus stop on Queensferry Road (A90) goes straight to the city centre.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    Waverley or Haymarket train station.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    No, sorry they are not welcome.
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, there is not, but there are many lovely restaurants within walking distance.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    No, you can not.
