could not fault moureen and her hubby the room was lovley. cleanliness was perfect.. her hubby cooked brekky each morning and it was great he is so lovley and nice nothing was too much trouble from them.. i would reccommend this place to anyone,, easy walking distance to pricess street was not afraid to do so at nite. overall this place was great.

only comment i would make is that as they dont live on property there were no phones in rooms or in the reception aera just for contacting them or to contact anyone in an emergency that would be the only downside i could make ..

Short walk to excellent bus service: clean, spiffy double-decker buses with huge windows, such a great way to see Edinburgh while getting to one's destination. We have nothing in the US comparable to these buses; it was real treat for us to discover them--and with such easy access from Balmore. I would add a photo from the upper deck of one of these vehicles to the web site.
