| | | Argyll Court is a charming terrace House in Inveraray. The House is located in a quiet area, three minutes walk to the town centre and overlooking Loch Fyne. It is a family run B&B, and the owners David and Anne MacPherson will be very glad to welcome you. We only book two rooms one double and one twin. Both rooms have ensuite bathroom with showers. Inveraray is perfectly situated for day trips to Oban, Dunoon, Glasgow and Campbelltown. |
Inveraray enjoys a picturesque setting on the shores of Loch Fyne, where it meets Loch Shira. It was built on the site of an earlier fishing village in the mid 1700s by the 3rd Duke of Argyll, chief of the powerful Clan Campbell. He demolished the old village to build a grand castle and rehoused the population in attractive Georgian houses on a new Main Street. |
