Scotland
- Activities and Sports - Fishing
With
its streams, rivers and lochs and a long coast line, Scotland is a real fishing
paradise. It's waters are filled with salmon, trout and many other species.
The trout season is from October to March, while if you are looking for salmon
you'd better plan your fishing holiday from November to February.
No
fishing licence is required in Scotland, but most waters are privately owned and
you need permission which you can easily obtain in the hotel or in the local fishing
shop. The permission costs around £15 per day.
