| | | Caving in ScotlandThe best spot to practice caving in Scotland is the Sutherland region, about 20 km north of Ullapool and 90 km from Inverness, where you can find three caves that are all 2 km or longer and many that are shorter. In the limestone across the Highlands you can find caves to explore, although some of them are filled with snow during the winter. Glencoe is also a good caving region especially in Appin, in the southwest. There are a large number of caves here up to 300 m long. The island of Skye has many caves up to 300m long in the south west of Broadford. Useful Links Grampian Speleological Group Caving.org.uk | | |
