Traveler Reviews

Acorn House, Guest House, Inverness, Highlands of Scotland

Built in 1995, Bonnie Prince Charlie and Flora MacDonald are permanent residents here, in that their characters are immortalised by the stunning Scottish décor. There is a strong use of tartan (plaid) in the house and there are all the family knick knacks around like bagpipes and a whiskey collection.

Sometimes you may enjoy a
"wee dram" with the host in the residents lounge. You can also meet Kirsty, a West Highland white terrier who is very guest Friendly. The hospitality in Acorn Guest House is second to none.

When you come, do not hesitate to read our guest book which has wonderful comments from all over the world. The ambiance throughout is one of comfort and relaxation - from the moment you walk through the entrance you will discover a warmth and friendliness unrivaled in Inverness. Acorn House is all no smoking and is child friendly.
