Very accommodating as they kept our luggage until later in the day

You have to walk up a number of flights of stairs. This wasnt a problem for us but could be for others.

I loved this B&B and its staff was incredible (anything we needed was done instantly). The room was spacious, quiet and very tastefully decorated, with nice views of the water and old stone Georgian houses. The location was also terribly convenient to the Royal Mile and Princess Street. Thoroughly recommend this spot to anyone going to Edinburgh. Happily they are expanding at this location so more people can enjoy this B&B.

There is indeed no elevator so it was a long 3 flights up with too much luggage, but David generously insisted on carrying it all down for my daughter and I and putting it into the cab (which he had also called for us) when we departed.

They also recommended a great, tiny restaurant just around the corner - Cafe Marlyene. Our stay in Edinburgh was memorable because of David, his B&B and his recommendations.

Loved it! Absolutely stay here for a real flavor of Edinburgh.

Lots of steps to all of the rooms but help provided to carry up luggage Carpeting needed replacement in our room. Room was larger than many we have stayed in in Europe. Great location and the management was helpful in recommending restaurants, of which there were many nearby that were excellent. Terrific location for sightseeing and shopping.
